Description

Product Description

The Guarda solar path light has a vandal resistant design, made of durable cast aluminium with a large base making it extremely robust. Not only does it incorporate a high impact, crystallised polycarbonate lens, but added aluminium struts further protect this light from damage. It is ideal for commercial uses including lighting pathways or illuminating trip hazards.

The quality Epistar LED chips (1.8W) generate the high output with up to 50,000 hours of life. The grade-A monocrystalline solar panel works alongside the replaceable LiFePO4 lithium battery to guarantee optimum performance. This means that the light retains adequate charge for 365 day illumination. Even in the dullest of weather, the solar light will still illuminate, although maybe not for the entire night cycle. This light incorporates a time controller which creates a more reliable function than those using full brightness which uses up the stored power more quickly. The time controlled function illuminates at full brightness initially, then follows a gradual dimming sequence until it reaches 30% brightness after 5 hours and remains there until dawn. This solar light can illuminate for up to 23 hours at full charge.

Solar energy is one of the most innovative renewable power sources. It is excellent for the environment. It uses no power from the grid so no running or installation costs and no ongoing maintenance. It is the perfect solution to illuminating areas where hard wiring is difficult.
